Construction and Installation

Our team’s industry expertise and on-site experience sees us deliver a range of construction and installation services to exacting standards via:
  • Planning and scheduling of resources and material procurement to ensure the successful on ground execution of works to meet time, quality, performance, and cost outcomes.
  • Knowledge of hazards, critical risks, and effective controls, including procedural and operational approaches to the specific risks of mining plant including thermal risk, hazardous substances, High Voltage works, isolations, stored energy, line of fire and noise.
  • Data Communication, Instrumentation and Control Systems.
  • Ability to navigate the challenges and opportunities between specifications, design plans, people, processes, systems, and operations to deliver safe, high-quality works and meet critical timeframes.
  • Operation of plant and equipment for minor civil construction works including hydro-excavation/ vacuum truck, excavators for trenching and concreting.
  • Civil excavation equipment fitted with latest safety features, which are Tier 4 compliant and regularly upgraded.
  • Building refurbishment capability including kitchens, bathrooms, cabinetry, tiling and plastering.
  • Strength in mapping out timing of stages and developing works methodology to ensure we hit key milestones, including shutdown periods and maximise uptime for our client assets and production capacity.

Recent project examples that we have been involved in include:

  • Pit 3 tailings transfer pumping upgrade over 8 months, 11 kV/415V for switch room, 4 x 3.3 kV 800 kW pumps, switch rooms, instrumentation, PLC, and fibre optics at Ranger Mine for Energy Resources of Australia.
  • Electrical and residential building refurbishment program at Jabiru for Energy Resources of Australia.
  • Installation and commissioning of fully automated 2 x 250 kW Capari pumps supplied by two 500 kVA gensets at Ranger Mine for Energy Resources of Australia.
  • Supply and Installation of 14kW ceiling-suspended Air Conditioners at Ranger Mine for Energy Resources of Australia.
  • Water Treatment Plant 11kV High Voltage installation to Brine Power Generation DA7 Rebuild 11 kV (HV, LV and ELV) disconnection and reconnection for Veolia Australia at Ranger Mine.
  • Electrical repairs, lighting, port works, installation and residential housing works at South32 for Groote Eylandt Mining Company.
  • Tailings Storage Facility construction and civil works at Ranger Mine for Energy Resources of Australia.
  • Installation of Electrical (HV, LV and ELV), Instrumentation and Control including High Voltage 11kV underground supply feed and 1500kVA 11kV/415V transformer for the Osmoflo Water Treatment Plan over 10 months at Ranger Mine for Energy Resources of Australia.
