The team at Instalec Group help keep our clients’ assets working smoothly, including:
  • Experience in shutting down parts of mining plant whilst in operation to not have an impact on production or water treatment.
  • Operational site experience with multiple parties and managing risks via effective control measures for on ground interfaces.
  • Onsite facilities, critical spares and teams with multiple tooling and equipment kits to ensure we can deliver and manage multiple work fronts and activities concurrently.

Recent maintenance services that we have provided include:

  • Instalec Group (and previously trading as JLB Contracting) has been engaged by Energy Resources of Australia and Veolia (operations) since 2012 under master services agreement for specialist services and multidisciplinary maintenance at Ranger Mine. Works delivered includes High Voltage (22kV, 11kV and 3.3kV) upgrades and maintenance, Electrical, Instrumentation and Control system upgrades and maintenance.
  • Pivot Repairs irrigation rehabilitation, automation, pivot system and control system at Ranger Mine for Energy Resources of Australia.
  • Underground ring main High Voltage 11kV fault locating and replacement of paper lead cable to XLPE cable at Ranger Mine for Energy Resources of Australia.
  • Provision of electricians for planned/preventative maintenance at South32 for Groote Eylandt Mining Company.
  • Provision of general electrical works at Newmont Tanami for shutdowns and maintenance.
